Help plz (Scout)

ok ive done a bit of reading about scouts in 1.88 patch,Im looking to template my scout again with the new bonus we are getting but im kinda stuck.

I'd like to try gov in my template for the 4 to melee dmg /style dmg but not sure if the spell range/spell damage will change to archery range/archery dmg if it does ill be happy if not time to try another template.

If anyone knows the answer plz let me know.

spell range/spell damage DOES change to archery range/archery dmg.

If an item has spell range / spell damage this will change to archery range / archery damage.

Sorry to clarify the way i understand this is any item that has spell damage / range will effect archers but as archery not spell damage, hope this also helps.
