Help please. crash after logout!

After I logout from game and press exit in character selection screen the comp semi freezes. I can tab around whats open in windows and see stuff.

but it never really quits daoc. so gotta reset comp.

I just had this past 2 days. and Ive had toa since 25th.

any help appreciated

same problem here

every time i press exit, everythin freezes
screen is completly black except for mouse pointer which i can move
when trying to alt tab, daoc is appearantly still running in some way

every time i want to log, i have to alt tab at char selection, ctrl-alt-delete and close the program manually

I'll take a wild stab in the dark and ask you to try other drivers for your video card. ( newer isn't always better ).

Mine has happened recently and its either a). after reading another post i changed compatibility mode to win nt (so will swap that back) b). they have patched the client over the weekend and this has caused it.

I dont even get to the quit screen. I type /quit or hit the quit button next thing im on me desktop. But apart from that all seems ok apart from the usual lag issues. But ive put that down to DaoC open transit routers after doing tracert on them im getting packet loss most of the time.

changing back the nt compatibility mode sorted mine.
