help on wireless broadband?

i know it's the wrong forum but does anyone know anything about wireless (not satelite) broadband?
i.e. am i going to get a better connection than isdn, which i have?

i'm going for the 512K bandwidth but will my cs days now be over?

Well wireless for browsing and downloading is ok, but for gaming its a big no no really due to the latency jumping about from 30 to 300ms, ISDN is just more stable.

Depends on the ISP, who is it, Tele2/Liberty Broadband/Firstnet? They have changed names that many times
