k i think i just got patched to 1.63 and i cant logon, keeps saying incorrect password.

also the main site seems to be down and the subscription on one of my accounts has expired,

how do i get back to 1.60

Go into the SI folder, find the Update.dat and make sure the only thing it has in there is the following script
I had the same problem this was GOAs response.

Can change to read only too in attributes stops the buggers changing it

It will keep reverting to the US version while the patch server is down. Do RL for half an hour and try again

Heh, at least I know I have to keep the mousethingy near the cancel button when I get home and start up the game today

Under some OS you can make your update.dat read only which should prevent it being overwritten. Doesnt seem to work for me under NT :/

set your update.dat to readonly and remove it for patch day

if u patching to US then delete your update.dat and it will recreate afaik
