Help me please I'm a newbie

On trying to join barryworld servers and several others I have found that I need extra mission maps. Where do I get them from please? any help appreciated. Thanks guys.

The first thing that I would check is that you have the full 1.11 patch update. That one has new maps and things that a lot of servers are running these days.

That patch is for a clean, fresh installation from the CD.


Other servers run different modifications (mods) of Tribes. You may have been trying to join one of those servers. Barrysworld have an FTP site with a lot of the patches, maps, and other files that you may want here... ftp://ftp.barrysworld.com/tribes/

There are others, but see if the 1.11 patch and the FTP area can help you out first. If they don't, post back here again.

Also keep an eye out for updates from:
www.tribesnation.co.uk (plug) www.planetstarseige.com www.euro-tribesplayers.com

They normally have news on the map updates and extra patches available.
