okay, i like many people am trappped out of my dark age account. Due to moving isp 3 days ago and not having access to my old email account (and not being able to update my email address due to the site being down).

The ironically named 'rightnow' support service keeps timing out, and from what i read, you cant even get into the service without your subsription password anyway.

Pardon the language, but this leaves me and many more people up sh*t creak without a paddle..... not only is their choosen method of emailing everyone flawed, but as a software engineer working for a major ISP, known as being highly insecure.

Back to the topic at hand, okay, im stuck here without a clue of what to do ? Has anyone out there ever forgot their subscription password and had to sort it ? is there a phone number i can call ? is there an email address to contact ? any advise please ?

its not that i need to play this game, its just i dont wanna be stuck paying for a game i cant play, and cancel for that matter (i suppose i would need my password for that also)

any information will be greatly appreciated ... and please, only relevant information to the topic, i dont want this thread turning into a GOA sl@gging competition, and a discussion of how p**sed off you are.

I think their emails are down like their WithInDayOrTwoOrWeekOrSo service or what ever RightNow thing ;) Need to prolly wait sometime for them to get their act together. They should hire more folks to do jobs around there and try to make less profit :p

atleast when they had problem with the SI not coming online due to the snowstorm we got updates all the time but there is hardly any info about what to do now

Quote from daoc homepage

We are very aware of all the problems that will arise due to these procedures, especially for the ones of you who did not keep their information up to date (email, etc). All the problems will be treated on a case by case basis as soon as we re-open our Customer Support tool RightNow

Just some patience

You unlucky and stuck in a anoying situiation, but be calm, it is (according to GOA's post) only the game password that is changed, and last time I was in sub-info, you can see and change your ingame-password from there, so be calm and wait for sub-pages to get back on..... know it is anoying with those "pay-for-nothing"-days until sub-pages are up, but guess it is better than never to play again and/or wait for GOA to threat you in case-by-case-basic....
