Help I am stuck

Well I got as far as the Host tower in Luskan and now at the very top I see Arabeth and the evil guys behind a gate. I do not have a key to open the gate yet I have searched all over for one. I have stood there for a good hour to hour and a half waiting for something to happen but nothing seems to move.

Has anyone passed this part and if so how did you do it or what do I need to find ?

I even went out and bought the walkthrough book to find if I have missed anything but according to it I just have to watch a scene played out then fight lots of lizzards.

what version you got???? It has to be a bug of somekind.

I have got past the part you are talking about a couple of times with nps

But havent completed single player for a while. But my recollection is that the minute you get up there the ceremony of aribeths rise to Blackguard starts.......

Gotta be a bug.........

Its ok got it sorted out . Yeh it is a bug and alot of other people have had the same thing happen. I had to move the chapter to the modual file and play it in DM client with my main character. Then pick the location from the DM menu to go to the Host Tower pinacle then save it there. Then play it in the normal single player mode. It worked then.

yeah, I had the same thing. something to do with certain triggers iirc. there are several threads about it in the bioware nwn forums. their ideas work just fine [or did for me]
