Ok,having a little problem here,i am getting connection interupted constantly now after sorting out problems with the patch.
I can connect to servers, but once on them,i get a packet flood. All i see in the console is this : NET_SendPacket:WSAEADDRNOTAVAIL

I have gone through my firewall, and that is set up proparly so it isnt that (activision and lucasarts are convinced it is,but all the right ports are open,so no chance is it that)

System specs are right as i can run the sp game fine,no problems at all.

Here is the DX diagnostic of my comp, see what you make of it,and if you spot the problem and how to correct it,post here or tell me on IRC.

YAY

Ok,i knew there was a reason i was learning to program games, and now i know why. Found the problem with help from people who shall remain nameless (you know who you are :p) it was stareing me in the face,Quake 3 engine! so the jka technical support doesnt have help on this problem, but the technical support for Quake 3 does :p discovered that eventhough i opened the ports, because i had patched, the security program (not the firewall, something else) hadnt made its mind up about the new upgrade and decided not to recieve information from the servers, hence, the problem. Its sorted now and i will be back playing now

Cheers All
Dustyboy
