so here is your new fotm group. Based on my own experiences :(

2 Clerics, 1 pala, 1 mincer, 1 sorc , 2-3mercs , 0-1 arms.

try mez.
Use DEBUFF. (=win)
Hmm.. paladin.. GUARDS clerics / sorc... mm and.. slam enemy support if you got chance (otherwise mincer stuns).. Don't attack, paladins are pretty useless :/.
mercs use SNARE styles or try get pf off on enemy support.
Sos if you get bad start,,
Clerics heals ofc. Dont.. stun.. tanks.

and yea.. good luck :)

rofl such good tips!!!11

well try using 2 clerics and you may have some chance against savage groups... 2 clerics in alb groups here is very rare

havent been in a group since SI pretty much that dont have 2 clerics.... maybe you just aint that good at spotting them?.

Do u expect the random rr2 albs that go RvR for the first time to go with this group? well guess what there are plenty of brehon/vakten groups in mid that suck BIGTIME and have uber gimp setup, this thread is kinda useless tbh.

Give us some new ideas on how to beat savage groups instead of some old cookie cutter group setup that all rvr guilds use or atleast know of by now.

Oh and to Jiggs, im sorry but why 2 41 rejuv clerics? u really need one cleric with atleast 37 enhance for the 16% energy buff. 1 cleric with 40-41 rejuv and 1 with 39 imo.

He plays one so decide:

a) He thinks they are balanced.
b) He is a FOTM lover, who only want to play easy mode.

Now chose.

Wrong, there are not warriors almost, chose btw a warrior and another savage is like chose btw a proper mind sorc and a matter sorc. The FOTM is strong in Midgard, well, at least there are few who didn't rolled a fucking overpowered savage and still playing a good balanced class (but only few). :(

mmm i was kinda being sarcastic in my post i didnt really mean u should be attacking warriors as ur first target.
i think theres more people who try to play warriors in rvr then savages atm but most grps only accept 1 warrior into their grp so u gets loads of warriors being left at mtk or being forced to play the needed shammies / healers etc

To call people FotM is just plain ridiculous. It's just plain jealousy, thats all.

You go to work. You earn cash. You want to buy a car. Boss offers youa raise and some extra hours per week. You think "hm, nice, i can buy myself that cab with a V12 engine in it". you put in the extra hours at work to afford the car. Why? because you want something better.

Most humans work this way. They want something better, and they put down energy into getting it. It's called capitalism. look it up.

Same way for the people leveling better chars. they want something better. Too bad that you're at the sharp end of the spear, but i truly think these 'fotm' people (and yes, im one of them) doesnt give a rats arse about what you think. It's just the way this society goes, everyone strives for something better, and that applies in daoc aswell. Some people want to be the biggest badest damage-dealers, just as some people want the coolest cars, or the nicest audio/video systems at home, or perhaps the newest strongest computers. Stop whining about it, or go do something about the problem on a grass-root level, like joining the local communist party.

Unfortunately most people don't know who they should be going for first.

Maybe we should run a poll and see which guy from the standard Mid melee group should be ganked first?

Ummm.. is that so very hard?

In the usual mid-group go for the mend-healer, then the second mend-healer, then the pac-healer then the shammy..

Remove one mend-healer if there aint one in the group..

There you go, happy zerging.

In my humble opinion 3 spread heal casters makes the Mid groups much more deadly than the dreaded Savages. Well, support is doomed to be overlooked while tanks race for the l33test screenies.

Finster

We tried it too,and more than once, always whit top clerics:
the main problem its..if you drop a tank for a cleric it going to be a pain, cause you wont kill fast enought.
We had ilarius fights whit half group on floor at start of fight and we were still able to win cause large chances of ress and a large ammount of bof/moc/rangin power/purge around..
but its a pain every fights, even against noobs.

If you drop the sorc for the cleric it goes aloot better, but if you really have to drop your cc ,better get one more tank (I would say a reaver),but once again you need a super mincer and I don't know more than 3 minstrels able to work as main mezers.

p.s. Abion lacking of good mincers, where the minstrell s population it's quite big;a random mincer it's just one more meleer in your group ( a v weak one, whit shitty ws and no determination) a good mincer have too many things to do(mezz,demezz,interrupt-stun supports, neutralize pets, avoid agro)to be able to tank aloot.

or c) he didnt have a tank class at lvl 50 yet, thought his guild could use an extra tank and thought bezerkers and warriors werent as much fun?
Savages are a fun class to play around, even if their damage would be lower than it is now. Anyway you assume everyone who plays this class must either be blind or play it because its overpowered. Some just happen to play the class, because they like how it plays.

put mincer on 1 healer paly on 1 (within end restraints ofc, but a good taunt is still usefull) then put your 3 arms/mercs on the third healer. I've seen BF do this once (they fucked up assist ofc, so aint gonna happend again) and it was very hard. altho without sos u can just give up i guess :/

Then those players have to accept that they are gonna be nerfed to hell and back, and will continue to be nerfed until they stop en masse jumping to whichever char is deemed overpowered at the time.

Midgard has a habit of whining about the 'constant nerfs to Midgard', but Midgard players really don't do themselves any favours.

And driwen gets the jackpot. I've already explained in other threads that this is the case.

I even explained how I leveled a defensive warrior at first - and got bored at around thid level. ( this was before /level came into play ) - so I decided to level the other tank class that I had on my account - hoping it could provide some more versatility.

Have you any idea how silly it looks when our guild goes on Epic dungeon raids, for instance? where the group consists practically of 1 skald and 7 seers ? ( maybe a thane mixed in there somewhere )

And yes, I play her more in PvE than RvR, not that I play her a lot at all.

No, I don't think they are balanced, which I have clearly stated in most 'nerf savage' threads that I've posted in, and no - I'm not a FOTM that made this char to wtfpwn everyone.

Accusing people about being this and being that, without knowing any of the reasons behind it is maybe something you get off on.

I just get sick of people pulling numbers out of their arses and providing them as the truth, that's all.

I do think savages should be looked at though (plz dont take my determination :>)

if anything they should tone down the self-buffs - or make the side-effects nastier/more immediate.

I recognise the heal ones ;)

not so sure on the mezz - what colour is it?

then again - it's pretty hard to mistake a sorcerer for anything other than a cabalist... what's a cabalist?
