I noticed that play.com have the triple Hellraiser box at £14.99 and I am half a mind to get it, as I really like the movies.

There was a Hellraiser IV (Bloodline) too, the box contains only I-III, I have not seen IV, anyone care to comment on that one ?

I remember seeing Hellraiser and it did scare me at the time but I always found it OTT, although I guess its because I'm not a horror fan.

Theres actually 7 Hellraiser films, with an eighth due out in 2004, but i've only seen the first two so i can't really comment on the rest. :(

I enjoyed Hellraiser IV. It flashed back between the middle ages and a space station in the future if I remember rightly. The sci-fi bits were quite good. Although not a brilliant film I enjoyed it emensly. I must get around to watching some of the other ones.

I'm certainly out of the loop on this one.

Surely they were not all written by Clive Barker, in fact I think he only wrote I and II. I actually didn't think much of III in comparison, so what are V-VII like then ?

As an aside (and I cant check IMDB due to firewall atm) - did Clive Barker have *anything* to do with Re-animator? I seem to remember he had a link with it, maybe he wrote it or something?

I loved that film, must get hold of the DVD.

Re-animator (1985)? If so, Clive Barker didn't have anything to do with it according to IMDB.

Re-animator is based on a HP Lovecraft story.

Just used IMDB and only Hellraiser I and II were written by Barker, III and IV by Peter Atkins and the rst by other people.

Good grief man! What are you talking about! Bloodlines was the biggest pile of trashy made-for-TV straight-to-video POS i've seen. Frankly it made a mockery of the original which is totally fantastic.

If you've not read the original Barker novella do so, because it's also excellent :)
