We just started in Midgard, we have a Shadowblade and a Hunter, both lvl5.
Has anyone here suggestions where to hunt till say lvl 15/20 in a small group/ team of 2. Next question would be about items - are there one time drops for levels till 15/20 or drops we should definitely get?

The Shadowblade uses 2 hand swords, the Hunter will go Bow/Stealth with leftovers in Beastcraft.

Seing as you are 2 both lvl 5 you might wanna go to the bone bridge near Naliten. Left of that bone brigde is a large field of carrion critters they lvl range is from 7-9.

If thats to high to start on then there is Svewolf mothers north of Audlithe. They are lvl 5 and 6 and got weak attacks against leather.

From lvl 10 onwards try going a bit south of the aforementioned carrion eaters and you will find more of the same stuff just a bit higher lvl.

Lvl 10-11 go to Gna faste around the tower base your targets should be Gray worgs, decaying trolls and shadows.

from lvl 12-16 go for the Weeping willows along the road at Gna faste southeast and northwest. You can also take orange tinglers on.

At lvl 14 killtask at huginfel

Lvl 17-21 Tinglers, Great tinglers, arachnites. Throw some Shrieking willows into that mix aswell around lvl 19 found to the left of askheim, and Werewolf spawns before the entrance into Skona.

There are many good spots around Gna Faste, and you will probably get killtasks too. At lvl 15-16 you could do Mora Dancers/Riders, be sure stay on “safe-spots”. Lvl 17 is skogsfru and werewolves around Askheim. At lvl 18-19 you could do shreaking williows. Lvl 20…try Vendo or Cursed.

I think the best items on that lvl are from quests. Go to daoc.warcry.com, there you can find out how to get the items you need.

Autotrain is 1/4 lvl so at 48 it is 12.

so i get my first autotrain at lvl 6 i reckon, but when next time? Another thing, how many stealth levels will i get by lvl 20 just from autotrain?

First autotrain will be at level 8 IIRC, taking it to 2, then every four after that so it will be 5 by level 20.

i know the feeling.. til i dinged 50 i was near throwing up at the thought of killing draks.. but i bit down and got thru.. and now im happily playing with my alts on mid and Alb/Prydwen. Tho none of them is in a rush to reach 50.. theyll prolly stay at 24

dont want to disturb the chat, but can someone tell me when Autotrain around 20 occurs? Is the 1/4 info is correct, i should get stealth 5 at lvl 20. Can someone confirm?

we are now 13, willows (great tip btw! they go down very fast, albeit the dd shout is ridiculous, sometimes they do it 3-4 times in a row, each for 50 dam...) just turned yellow/blue, so a bit low maybe for two lvl 13s. Tinglers are ok too, but they are blue now. Any other suggestions or should we do willows one more level and then go to huginfel?

Ah and one more thing, can someone comment on the minor fideals? Where to find them, how often they drop the awesome stealth gear and what type of monster/armor they are? Any special powers like dd shouts?

Fideals can be found on the island No the Felag camp N of Huginfell

Or if you follow the read W out of hugin fell.. keep following it til you get to another Felag camp by a lake .. the should be fideals around that lake (and in the lake IIRC)

Minor Fideal level 15-16
You will have -10 damage reduction when using slashing weapon vs this monster, and they will have around +15 damage adjustment vs leather, hmmm I need to go try them on aswell it seems

You can go kill Skogsfrus just near Huginfel to get a neutral faction with the Minor Fideals, to make life easier if you want to farm them.

thanks a lot guys, found tas and found the fideals. But after a whole level done at the fideals we got 3 vannsang axes and 1 vannsang sleeve. They drop ultra rare id say. My hunter friend used 400 arrows that should be around 100 kills, and 4 drops; 3 of them the same... bleah. that sucks.
Can anyone confirm a vannsang belt drop please? Or state what else YOU have seen drop off them? I know the lists, but id like to know what actually dropped.
