Hi all. Am thinking of starting up regularly on Hib/Excal. Tried it in the past, played a chanter for a bit, got bored and when I got insulted for name stealing *lol* that kinda put me off from the realm So will start from scratch. Now I dont know anything as far as hibbies and PvE are concerned. Just wondering which class would be good for someone that just wants to hang around in PvE, and is fun to play. Not interested in fast xp, just fun xp. Oh and any guilds out there recruiting? Would like to join a fun/relaxed one with plenty of peeps so I can chat my arse off

edit: Oh and forgot. Class type doesnt really matter if its melee or a caster. Just something enjoyable

Wardens are good fun in PvE too You can do 39 weapon / 26 parry / 38 nurture / 26 regrowth spec, be a Perfector, and be fantastic at PvE! Soloing purples with heal font, or supporting a group with fonts and chants, it's like being a Swiss army knife

Make a bard. One of the most challenging classes in rvr!

It wasnt the person's name that insulted me. Apparently one of the more respected players used a certain word for a name, changing it a little to adjust it to a female char. Last time I ever use a translator to come up wwith a name. I usually take great pride sitting in front of the char creation screen for over 30 mins trying to get a name unlike *wtfpwnzerofmids*
But thanks for the info. Guess I'll have another go at enchanter. I hate animists too much to play one

mentalist might be interesting for you also - not as effective in groups but once you are lvl 50 you can solo lots of stuff with the right pet (eg salamander)
and charming pets is always fun (for instance you could charm an orange melos earth razer, which is a theurg mob that gives red haste and damage add to the whole group and spams earth pets on your target - seeing that you have played a theurg in alb )

what garb said, leveled a menta myself and i really enjoy it. started as light and had great fun in bg1 with a buffed tank pet (strafe + kite 4tw ), and now im higher level theres lots of fun pets to charm in toa. respecced mana now for dotting which is also very enjoyable

haha well pwnjoo the BD got pwned by my hero near bolg tower when albs had it rofl well i did get help from cleric npc i think he hit by mistake rofl but died he did
