Hello,

today I need some information from one of my two enemies.
A few days ago I started an eldritch on German server Dartmoor. Now I like to know from you which of the eldritch's magiclines is the best, the best in solo leveling, the best in group leveling , the best in RvR and the best overall magicline.
I personnally chose void, to have an eldritch close to my fire wizard. I wanted to have the spec bolt and the spec ranged aoe nuke. But then I saw I didn't pay attention at daoc.catacombs.com, I hoped to have a spec simple nuke aswell, just like a fire wiz in Albion.

Now I hope you'll answer me. Let's have a glass of that Hibernian stout I like so much.

Mana for group levelling
Light for RvR (though mana did work in the past)
Void is easiest for solo levelling.

I would think mana is the better choice while levelling tbh as it isnt that bad bad for solo levelling either.

By the way void eld is no where near as good as a fire wizzy, as unlike fire wizzies they do not have one of the highest delve spec nukes in the game to go with there bolts.

I levelled on void because you get a nice range from the mobs. I found that using both long range bolts was enough to take a yellow con mob and if I got a nice critical I could do orange mob in two bolts.
Light for RVR is good because you still have 1 long range bolt, a good normal nuke nuke nuke button, AOE mezz, nearsight.

with light + fopbot you can keep chaining mobs without waiting to for bolt cooldown

agree with yurka here ..got from lvl 46- 50 in only a few hours playtime solo at the daughter of maebh camp with a fop bot ..where I was introduced to horner ..mmm ....

Dont go mana spec ..you wont find levelling groups these days ..

Go void if you are new here and dont have much money for sc or you dont have a buff bot etc ..its a bit slower than light but its range safe .

If you are set up with sc etc I would go light ..you can tear through the mobs ..especially in cata ..3 hitting most mobs with buffs.

46 light rest mana for rvr spec ..anyone who tells u different is wrong.

Void is fastest for solo unbuffed leveling.
Light is fastest for buffed leveling, or leveling with fop/mana regen.
Mana is fastest in the right group.

I'll second this, 47 light rest mana imo. The main diffrence from 46 light rest mana is a new AOE Mezz from the 47 light vs. a new aoe str/con debuff. Ermm... aoe mezz.... aoe spell... something just doesn't fit in.
You could do 47 light, rest void but the better bolts won't help you that much since you'll be busy NS'ing everyone before they enter the fray.
