Hello everyone I'm new to Albion and have started a reaver here. I would like some info about good quest gear for reaver and/or if someone can help with crafted stuff

Look at http://www.visionofsages.net/toa, notably the artifacts and quest sections to help plan your template, also you will probably want to do the Stone of Arawn quest in SI for an 80 utility necklace. http://camelot.allakhazam.com/ has quest/item info also. TOA templates vary a lot now due to the wide variety of possible templates possible now, rather than the standard SI templates.

Dont know much bout reavers, but i think most reavers have 42 shield and rest flex/soulrendering, think that back move is good (cnt remember wot its called) but it sets off a proc i think

Thanks for answers but i think i might have been unclear to what i was asking...
I know what to spec at 50 and what gear to have then but i need to know what good gear is obtainable for a reaver at level 20 for levelling

I made a lil BG Reaver with all Player crafted Sc'd equipment but deleted him
so your quite welcome to it for free ... only problem is he was crush spec but im sure i can make you up some weps ...

Im not online much at the moment so i will put it in the guild volt so just ask a mamber of the severed fist to get it out for you

On a side note we have a few reavers in the guild they recon on this spec which gives you ok defence and keeps the class defineing Soul Rending high

50 Flex for Leviathian
29 Shield for 7 sec stun off block 6 sec rear stun
47 SR for best ABS debuff of 15%
16 parry with spar points

Larc, welcome to Albion and I hope you enjoy your Reaver. As a class it takes little while to get used to but it is very rewarding to play and worthwhile challenge in RvR. A skilled Reaver can be a nightmare to fight against in the right situation. As for spec, personally if I was remaking my Reaver I would be very tempted to spec Crush and auto-train Flexible till at least 40. There is very little tradeoff in doing so the and extra spec points are always worthwhile.

With my Reaver I was aiming for 50 Shield and 50 Flexible with the rest of the points in Soulrendering, it does mean sacraficing the class defining spell line somewhat but the extra amount of defense afforded by this spec makes it very worthwhile. The standard Slam-Reaver is also pretty robust, there are a couple of high Soulrending Reavers around but personally I don't feel the points are well spent going high in that line until it gets reworked because the damage/utilty just doesn't scale well enough when you consider the tradeoff off much lower defense.

Regardless of whichever setup you choose I am sure you will enjoy a very underrated and fun class.

Though i must admit the spec your guildies have there looks interesting too

i know where you can get a UV 36? ring for lvl 20, near the broken bridge in Salis Plains (or other places, as in Cornwall at the Skeleton Mansion) else get some items crafted tbh, shouldn't be a problem and GL on alb

hehe i can sooo see reavers being fotm in frontiers if it stays the way it is atm

So welcome aboard. Reavers and the flex line are prolly the 2 hardest things to master in this game, it takes time and alot of arseing around but if you stick with it, you will find your playing 1 of the best classes in the game. Well worth it!

Need any info or tips PM me in game, although i have hardly any lowbie gear, gave it away ages ago
