this is a warning to other players who knows this person, or has been in guild with him, recently i got my account scammed, aswell as 2 of my friends accounts, me and him was friends for a few months uintil i found out he was storing lost items on a level1 toon called vkota, i tried to tell him to return the items but he disagreed so we kinda got into a fight, after 30 minutes or so my net went down and i was unable to log on for a few hours, when i came back on, i logged onto my bot account and found all my characters deleted, unfortunaetly i cannot get those characters restored due to them being registered to another email which is down due to some kind of bug on my mail, aswell when i came back he tried to pretend to be someone else, but then after a while he admitted it was him again and he would not restore the items he has stolen, this is a warning to people from both Aquamarine, Alarm Clock Squad aswell as other guilds who knows Hellmaster/Vkota/Expirimental, do not shear your account password to anyone especially not him, i didnt give him my account password but he send a keylogger after me, so keep your firewall up if you have his msn and simply just don't shear your acc ount password with anyone,


aswell as i wrote to rightnow last evening, i got an email send back that i should make the ones i knew who has been scammed aswell send a mail to rightnow aswell to confirm this has been done, this has been done allready but there's temporary been no answer yet, this was just a warning to other players, aswell as Albion players who might know him as Hellpact.

Sorry, didnt make myself clear in my post.

Anyways on topic: I'm sure that GoA GM's can look into it and restore your chars, provided they have server-logs of what happened. And hopefully ban the idiot that done this.

well, Hellmaster himself confirmed and said he couldn\'t be banned, and so far i still haven\'t had any replies, is it due to holidays and i\'ll have to await answer on monday or something?

I know your saying it solved but tbh i could say that also i would be temtet to say i dont belive it before i saw the author of this post actualy saying that he's problem been solved.

I'd like to point out that a Firewall doesn't protect against keyloggers or trojans etc, if someone installed a keylogger on your PC that person did it either through sending you a file (which you accepted) and you executed it by which it installed itself or the person installed it right on to your PC by having access to your PC(either remotely or directly).

Best way to protect yourself against them is having an up to date virus scanner, most people that use these programs are so called script kiddies who do not make these programs themselves and use widely distributed programs like these to cause harm to yours and other people's PC's but due to the programs they use that are widely distributed they are often detected by an up to date virus scanner.

maybe the firewall wouldn't protect you from getting the keylogger on your system, but it should prevent it from sending information back home.

If a person manages to get a keylogger on your system they will also be able to get a trojan on it to get root on the system or use some exploits to open the needed ports through your virtual server in the router or plainly disabling your firewall.
Personally I find software Firewalls a waste and imo they cause more problems than they solve.

Chardon, If you contact subscription AT goa.com, I'm very sure they'll be happy to help you out. Then you can get your characters restored.
You can also get a hold of a GM ingame. Just search for any lvl 100
