Vivendi were originally Sierra right? and they were with Valve when Half-Life was originally released afaik. They've done quite nicely for the players and the market, although I'm a bit sketchy on details.

I wonder if the zerg is going to let you char copy your DAoC alb chars :O

if they care so much for making great games, why the hell are there more SH*T games then great games on the market?

Simple answer really, all developers arn't that good at what they do.

Also money is an issue since it dictates time.

Big games cost big bucks. REALLY big bucks.

It does seem that the future holds long nights of sitting on battlenet, waiting for the counter to start and say the magical words of GLHF and hoping you don't loose so your precious 10-0-0 status is intact
