Hi guys

Just a quick note to say I'm back after my recent abscence on the forums. I'm sure you all missed me, right? ;) Hmm, I thought as much :p Anyway, I probably won't post on old topics since I've missed too many, so if you really need something looking at (dare I say this?) just politely bump it or PM me and I'll see if I can help.

Kind Regards

Jonty

P.S. Yes, this thread is pointless, so I'll delete it after a day or two :)

It is a count down to HL2 release, unless it has been delayed in which case its a count down to a date...

hehe, I have to confess that my site has been under development for a very long time (around seventeen redesigns in approximately one and a half years :(). So I just put various splash screens until I can sit down and code a site I actually like.

Thanks for your interest :)

So how does it work? I guess each block of squares represents months/days/hours/minutes or something? :)

Its a bit confusing for us small minded folk. :)

Don't worry, it doesn't make much sense. Basically, the left hand column represents the number of months left to the date (one square = one whole month). The column to the right of that represents the number of days left (one square = one whole day). Next to that are the number of hours left (one square = one whole hour).

Now things become a little complicated because I didn't want two lots of sixty squares for minutes and seconds. Soooo ... the column next to the hours needs to be viewed as two columns compressed into one. On the left are the number of ten minutes left (one square = ten whole minutes). On the right of the same column are the number of individual minutes left (one square = one whole minute). So, if the left hand side of the column has four squares highlighted, and the right has seven, the number of minutes remaining would be forty seven (4*10 + 1*7). The final column uses exactly the same methodology but for seconds.

Confusing, I know, but there you go :(

Kind Regards
