Just a quick note I heard that Pagan left the alliance, I was wondering why.

Yeah I love RVR its what the game is about and i cannot get sod all grps.

Solo all the time some nights i make 1000 rps in 5 hours...

What alliance are they in now...Im finding it hard

CF alliance, and yes i honestly do believe you need to be in a specific alliance to get RvR. isnt a flame at the HoF alliance i love those guys, had loads of fun when i was there. but you wont get much RvR organised! just an opinion, so need 2 need to quote me saying yeah we do loads of rvr now etc etc

did you get the keep though brack?

You think people in CF alliance get a group for rvr just like that?
It's not like we ask in /as for groups or certain classes, you will have to do it yourself, no matter wich alliance you're in.

its not just about getting random emain peeps to come rvr, its genral rvr - can get messages across faster in CF alliance coz most of the ppl standing at the back of DL are in the CF alliance

Trust me, you get same amount of groups no matter wich alliance / guild you're in, all depending on wich class the current group needs.

The last week now ive been trying to get rvr grps, I send peeps msgs and get sorry m8 guild rvr grp even though they only seem to have a grp of 3 or sometimes 7 even.

The other night i was at dl sending asking yelling and no one replied or said sorry guild rvr. Or sorry its an alliance grp.

I can see y pagan left to be honest im starting to get fed up with the constant solo rvr or just me and my other 2 guildies.

Hi guys

Wow never thought id see a thread bout my ickle guild

We left HoF last nite, we posted on the forums that we were going to and we kinda randomly spammed it on /as all yesterday.

RvR was slightly the reason why we left, the HoF Alliance is a great one but moslty pve and now that the majority of our players are 50s we needed more people that were up for raids.

Its nothing to do with the peeps on HoF its just that it became clear over the past couple of weeks that we had different goals

If your guild is mostly 50s then it should be no problem.

Might be the fact that people in the cf alliance get told where the mids and albs is at any point, and the ones in hf alliance get told how to spec a naturalist ^_^

Hof alliance chat owns, but its not for rvr =)

I hope PDC does know that such /as msgs are considered as spam in CF alliance

We would like to thank HoF, it was fun and we met a lot of cool people in there, its just time to move on. RvR roups are easy to get, knowing whats going on in Emain is a bit harder.

I can't remember seeing anything in the patch notes about expanded alliances.
This means any alliance is still limited to 20 guilds.

quick reminder of the rules (we arent nazis btw but you have to have some rules with an alliance as big as ours)

Alliance Rules as set down by CF


1. Only GMs and Officers and those deemed responsible enough are to be allowed to speak on Alliance Channel, this will help to stop spam messages from newer players. If somebody else needs to speak they can ask one of their Alliance Speakers to send message. It will keep down the number of people using the channel yet hopefully ensure that every guild has someone on at any one time that can use /as.

2. It is up to each Guild to decide who gets to see the Alliance Chat, maybe keep the newer members away from it until they can be trusted. We don't need spies hampering our efforts.

3. Alliance chat is 'NOT' to be used for items/groups/congratulating people/rezzes and all other unnecessary spam. If people use it for any of these purposes they are to have their AC privileges removed, no questions asked.

4. Alliance Chat is for passing Information on enemy realm activity and to keep in contact during offensive strikes against said realms. When giving Information be clear and precise as to numbers and levels, make sure that what you are sending is correct i.e. 10 Albs, red con to lvl 40 at base of Crimthain and 'NOT' lots of high level albs runnin around emain killin peeps. It will be up to the individual’s common sense as to what should be said in AC. If we have one invader in Gorge maybe don’t use it, if we have eight invaders in Gorge it could be useful for Alliance to know.

5. No arguing, flames or calling people names. If you want to do that do it in a private message. Treat others how you would like them to treat you.

6. Late at night post prime time alliance chat can be more relaxed – this does not mean grp/res requests etc – But a less strict interpretation of the rules.

7. Alliance chat can be used to announce/help arrange large scale raids i.e. Dragon. If an alliance motd is needed for any of these just pm Gray, Delura, Verata or Jozen.

8. If you see someone spam /as please DO NOT respond on /as this only makes it worse – if u must pm the person or pm a CF gm please.

9. Generally use your common sense when using /as and remember we are all on the same side - so lets be nice to each other.

i know some of these rules ie the red con one etc are a little dated now - but they more or less still hold

and alya - with over 1000 members in the allaince - you are always going to get spam - believe me it could be a lot worse.

Alliance guilds can't see which guilds are in the alliance. only the alliance leader guild can.
