Healer Template.... [Yes, I've looked at some others.]

Okay, My healer got to 50 last night. [Amongst one of 5 people who did]
And I wan't to get this thing a ToA kit.

I've gone over people's templates and I've even got one down [the same one Gotrag was going to use] which I'm going to post.
I've seen people say you need as much range as possible - well, can you please give me one with range?

Okay, before you go on about needeing more range could you post a template that works [Full caps/resists etc] with it?

As said in another thread, spell range on Bracer of Snow is restricted to PvE.

First thing that springs into mind is, why have all that hits when you're only able to use 240 of it?

Aye like Avana said Snow is purely a pve bracer and although at first glance it does look quite nice, there are better bracers.

I didn't notice what spec you were but i would say this, if your an auger, then get dexterity it makes an impressive difference to your casting speed especially if you can get the full 100 points. If your a paccer i still recommend dexterity but also range, i know it isn't easy but put simply, it wins and loose fights if you can get that mezz off first.

Alot of your template is based around capping all of the resists, if you read through other peoples you will see they have sacrificed 1 or sometimes more resists to get more TOA bonus', while i appreciate the value you put on resists maybe consider dropping matter a little, and enjoying some extra TOA bonus's.

There is a problem with that theres abotu 3 items that you can really use that give you range increase, GoV which is quite realistic if you farm the scrolls as opposed to pay for them, Jacina's Sash, not the easiest arti and Silverhorn which while not easy is also bugged (ty guys). That said if your serious about rvr then its something you need to consider. Also i don't make a character without a ceremonial bracer, the mezz turn can make a huge difference although its your call.

Your a high paccer, you'll likely be the sticky, duration is cool, but range and cast speed (dex and conventional) are essential. If you can bounce their first mezz you will find life easier (using c.bracer) especially if purge is down.

Good luck getting your healer TOA template to a point where it can't get any better without 5-6 uber/rare drops. And for the record I have all the items I included in my template except the artifact bracer. You are right though, if someone's looking at doing my template from scratch you're looking at spewing out a fair few plats or a lot of PvE.

There isn't a PERFECT template, u make a template with what u have/can get etc, and i wouldn't consider a drop from a high ml a ''can get'' unless u wanna pay a lot or u have much luck with /random 100

Ayana's template isn't far off perfect, has a lot fo the major area's capped but as we have all said is a difficult template to accomplish. Also hasn'ty included ceremonial bracer which i think is a mistake but other than that is a very good template.

That said i have seen templates that in total would cost little more than 10 plat and not much farming that cap a lot of area's, although range is often dropped as that is a huge expense.

Pick a template to your means, that doesn't mean don't be ambitious but theres no point doing 2 months farming to still not have your template, maybe make a quick template and then set long term goals of a better template? so you can play in the meanwhile.

Ok this is the template I made for my pac healer. Only 4% range and just 5 dex overcap... Rest is rather capped.

All the artifacts included can be done with just 1 fg. Scrolls are not uber rare. Egg of Youth, Healers Embrace and Phoebus Harp can all be lvled together by doing SM PL groups in malmo, easy as pie. Ceremonial Bracers lvls in rvr and Scorpion ring needs just to be lvl 1.

As for drops there are:

- Band of Shadow a drop from named mob Chisses in Stygia. Its a rare drop, but with a little patience it can be done. Some classes can solo it but a melee class+seer to be sure.
- 7.7 Buckler. Join ml7 farm groups and you will get it sooner or later. Not hard.
- ROG belt.. Rog's is your friend. Search the ME for items suitble to YOUR template. Bear in mind that even if they decay and you cant replace it, it will be a LOONG time before so and by then you prolly gonna redo template anyway due to new stuff in game.
- Boots of Rebirth. Prolly hardest non-rog item to get in this template, comes from ML9 mob Skyros afaik. He can be farmed with 1 fg. I havent gotten this beauty yet..


- Rest of equipment is either pc'ed or quest stuff. Notice torso is only 99 qual

Okay, I revised the template a bit to drop some of the hard-to-get items. ML10 leggings are still in it though - dropped Immolated Ring and Bracer of Zo'arkat.

Ring replaced with quest ring, and bracer replaced with Ceremonial Bracer (dex) as suggested. Using Phoebus Necky instead of Beaded (/cry).

Can compensate for low magic resists by buying AoM1 (1 rsp).
