Healer Spec advice

Hi

Some friends and I are planning to start up a muck about hunting group in midgard. One is going Mend/Enhance spec and the other Pac/mending

Is this a good idea? What would the rvr healers recommend as a good pacification and mending spec for end game?

Common spec nowdays for tank groups for healers are :

44pac30mend (last aoemess, miss pot5 at 45pac but get first spreadheal instead, also misses last aoemess insta but ppl who had higher pac claims they dont use it that often as the duration is way low vs higher rr groups) - main cc

40mend36pac (next best aoeinsta, 2nd best regular aoemess, pot4, best ress, 2nd best spreadheal) - spread healer who can act backup cc

39mend37aug (all 2nd best resists, 2nd best spreadheal, 2nd best celerity, not sure what haste buffs but decent ones ^^) - spread healer with aug

If they plan to join a pboae group in rvr I guess the best aoemess and aoestun still would be usefull (atleast qteeth claims so ;P or he's just lazy cus he dont wanna spreadheal ^^)

48pac24mend is the spec for, seem to have been common in tankgroups before also, but alot of people change to 44pac30mend instad.

You could also try a shaman/healer combo if you wanted.

well the group we have at present consists of:

2 x Zerkers (yes we know they aren't as good as they were - but better to play a class that might get some loving rather than the savage which is sure to get nerfed soon.)
1 x warrior
1 x skald
1x healer (pac)
1 x healer (mend)
1 x Shaman (cave/enhance)
1 x Dark/supression runey (tried to convince him otherwise but he loves casters )

seems like a tank group .. imo one of the healer in your group should go aug/mend.

celerity is very nice

44aug 30 mend, for last celerity and spread heal.

I have a healer aug/mend and i went 38 aug 36 mend beqause you arent getting something usefull for 40 aug.
35 and 36 in mend get you a higher grp insta heal and a grp heal what is good beqause the ones a lvl lower have to low hp.

Personally, I would go for a Pac Healer (30/4/44 MAP) with a balanced Healer (33/19/38 MAP).

Sure you lose the 3 resists, but that's balanced by the fact that you have a genuine back-up on CC duties. The above balanced spec will also be able to supply celerity (37% overall haste compared to 46% for 37 Aug and 52% for 44 Aug).

If the Pac healer was 'uber Pac' (i.e. 24/6/48 MAP) then I'd go for a spec with the 39 spread heal.
