Healer help and money transfer from Hib/Pryd

Greetings. I am new to the Midgard realm having been playing my Hibernia characters on Prydwen since release. I have started a Dwarf healer by the name of Tub and having played around with the character builder have come up with 2 level 50 templates. Any comments from healers appreciated as to what is the best way to spec. – I’m looking mainly at a group healer rather than solo and hence have concentrated less on Augmentation than the other skills.

Template 1
Augmentation 21 – 3rd attack speed buff, 2nd running speed increase
Mending 33 – 2nd best heal, 3rd best greater heal
Pacification 37 – 2nd best root and insta mes

Could be changed to Augment 25 and Pacification 34, which would mean dropping a level on the root and insta mes and gaining a self dmg buff and the next running speed increase – think the root/mes is more useful, but might be wrong.

Template 2
Augmentation 20 – basically the same as template 1
Mending 41 – 2nd best greater heal, best res
Pacification 28 – no insta mes, lower levels of roots etc.

Do these make sense, am I completely wrong. Any high level healers who can point me in the right direction? All help appreciated

Any pointers to best hunting grounds, good mob maps also appreciated.

Finally I would like to transfer 50 gold from my Hib/Pryd character to my Mid/Excal character. If anyone is up for this transfer please PM me.

22 mend/5 aug/49 pac is a cool spec.

You don't need >22 in mending for PvE, as the high level heals generate far too much aggro. In RvR, you won't actually heal much in battle, so large heals aren't a neccessity. Pacification is a great line though, you get a power regen buff (which everyone likes) and lots of insta mezz/stuns both single target and AE. You are THE crowd control class king of Midgard, so spec pac as high as you can. Augmentation is basically a gimped line (although fixed in 1.51D) and I think it's a waste speccing in there.

you dont really need 49 pac, as the att speed debuff is not that impressive to make speccing that high worthwhile.

enough to spec 48 pac and spend some rest points on mending or augm as you see fit.

if you want to go more mending as some ppl do, make sure your template has a min of 38 pac.

All these templates are for team mezzer only. Think about Aug, and you'll own in duels and solo rvr. Plus, 30-35% att speed+buffs makes your tanks real Terminators, and y need no tons of heal for them - they kill fast and safe. So, look at A40/P29 or A31/P36. Imho, P36 is more than enought for good mezz and mana regen. Full pac/mend healer is great for teamplay, but good RvR teams in Mid are so damn rare... Even with good team, there s always a lowbie Mjolnir-ready Thane without branes to make all your mezz useless

Please don't start a war - I just wanted some advice on how to spec a healer
I would like to see everyones point of view with their reasons so I can make an informed decision depending on how I want to play my character.

Well, the sole purpose for healers is to be pombot and do crowd control, if ppl want someone who heals they get a shaman

At least thats how I experienced it after late 30's. For RvR tho you need the healers instant heals to keep ppl alive most of the time, since the normal heals are usually either too slow or you get the 'You cant cast while moving' msg

I have 38 in Pac for insta AE mezz and stun - very helpfull in RvR
I have 22 in mend - 75% pers and 75% group insta - i use for heal baseline helas and its anough
I have rest in AUG - it will be something like 30 or 31 on lvl 50

So i will have almost best insta mezz/stun, good insta heals and good buffs for solo/team play.

If u need transfer - /t torin or /t baba ingame, i have chars on both realms (pryd/hib and exc/mid) and my hib char do really need money
