Heh, yes, Another Headset Thread!

Im after one which cost' under £30, Good Quality Sound, and Mic, Durable, and is Comfortable.

GAMEs Headset isnt Bad, and it only Cost' a tenner, anyone had any Experience with it?

This one isnt bad, but its only downfall supposedly is the Ear pieces are uncomfortable

Anyone else have any Views?

The MS gamevoice headset is a bit shite. Mines fallen to pieces after a couple of months use.

That MS Gamevoice is a Plantronics jobby I think.

I've got a Plantronics Audio 60 and it does feel a bit flimsy. Haven't really used it much yet tho, fuckin BF1942 needs some voice support :(

I had the Bulky Plantronics HS1, but Unfotunatly 2 of them which i have broke

PC World did the honourable thing and didnt stock em ever again.. bastards

Id prefer something smaller now tho.. and the 2 above do fit the description.. but i wanna know the Quality from the GAME Headset

I have the Labtec headset and as u say SG it is uncomfortable but only to begin with, I got it about 2 weeks ago and im now getting used to it. Sound quality is very good, provides plenty of bass and the mic boom can be rotated 180 degs so you can choose which side you have it on.

How long is the Wire on it Pippa?

I sit about 1 foot or 2 away from my Box, so i would need a Long Lead'ed one

I dual boot my PC with WinME and Win2K and have no problems whatsoever, not even a detectable difference in sound quality.

BTW....just to mention that this is Pro]v[etheus using Pippas PC.

Just hope it wont Raw my ears

It did mine for about a 1 1/2 weeks but then after that my nerve endings went numb so im none the wiser now ;)

They remind me of work too much. I avoid them, and use a pair of headphones and an interest bendy mike cable I've rigged up to the side of my monitor.

One day I'll get pictures of all this stuff so people can understand what the hell I'm talking about.

Yeah.. i have a £3 somethin Free Standing Mic, but its crap. I also have Wireless Headphones, but sometimes its a pain in the arse because i forget to Charge up the Headphones, so the Noise is Crackly.

I dont wanna tape up a Mic to my Monitor, because i also sit a bit of distance away from it while playing Games, and i dont wanna *shout* at the Mic because i may wake people up ;)

Also dont wann tape a Mic to my Head, would make me look weirder

I checked the Website, but the only Headsets i seen cost $300+, plus i only noticed they are for Aviation... not PC.. heh

I wanna stick in the -£30 Range, coz its only gonna end up gettin dropped on the floor etc ;)
