Headphones

Since i'll be going away on holiday shortly, I'll need a new pair of headphones to replace my old crappy pair.

Remembering another thread, I recall somebody reccomending either the Sony MDR-EX51LP or the Sony MDR-EX70LP. I've looked around, neither Sony.co.uk or Amazon.co.uk have them, Amazon.com does have the MDR-EX70LP but i'd like to price match first (they're around 36.94 dollars but they're from people selling them on amazon. not amazon itself)

Does anyone know a good website that ships internationally, well to Qatar anyway, and has either of those headphones at around that price or cheaper?

If you want in-ears, get some Sennheiser MX300s

Don't listen to these pe0ns. Stick with the MDR-EX70LPs.

Seinheisers are a lot less bassy than the equivalent Sonys. However, instead of either of them I'd recomend a pair of Grados, you will not find a better pair of headphones pounds for pound.

My sennheiser HD495s have eased the pain of separation from my old beloved TDL RTL2 floorstanding speakers. And they weren't expensive - lovely sound - I could go on.... :D

Why not pick up a pair while you're on holiday?

Grados > Koss by about a mile.

I'd not recomend the Sony high end headphones because they are REALLY badly designed, the swivel part of the arm will break, I've owned 3 pairs and every time I've ended up with the cups hanging off the arm. Nice sound, shame they break so easily.

Have to travel on a plane and a 2 hour bus journey so I need something to block out the sounds of terrorists taking over the plane/bus

Had a look around and spoke to perplex. Considering the Sennheiser MX 500 or PX 200 instead now.

Problem is, I cant find anywhere at all online that sells them and will ship to me. Amazon.com have them but they dont ship outside of the US.

Help?
