Having same name on 2 servers

Same name on Pry and Excal causes Qbar to mess up .Not that I cross realm ... pretty much stick to one realm or another for days/weeks at a time, but it still gets boring having to put all spells back how they should be.

I think somone mentioned a fix for this ... I have searched ... but can not find.

Only methods I can see -

1. Appeal to GOA for a name change on one, they may do so.

2. Take backup copies of the NAME-33.ini file from your install directory after setting it up right. When you switch to the other realm, switch the right file in. That's the file with the settings in it.

That shouldn't be a problem, necessarily.

The -33 bit of the NAME-33.ini indicates the server. However, since Cluster, Prydwen is no longer 177, it's now 33 as well. So on those two servers, both files have the same name, so it gets overwritten.

Same name on two unclustered servers isn't an issue.

Rightnow it - having same name on 2 servers is one of the few (if not the only) reasons GOA 'will' change your name on 'your' request.
