Thank you for your recent enquiry via email concerning Smarties.
The letters are printed on the tops of the Smartie tubes to increase the
enjoyment that can be derived from Smarties. Many children - of all
ages - collect the alphabet and we hear from play group leaders and
teachers who use them to help in teaching children spelling whilst they
enjoy themselves.
