2 of them have af .. and i think it adds to the atmosphere and sense of individualism so i think its a good thing

YES, NERF GOA FSSSSFFFFFSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Mythic makes the code, got the ideas, implement the stuff, test the stuff.
GOA supports european players playing with eachother and playing in 3 different languages. GOA also TRANSLATE patches from Mythic in order to patch the EU servers

Dont tell me you never visited camelotherald.com, and if you havent, dont comment on stuff in new pathces

Every other bugger does.

I could go on about how much time they waste on the cosmetic side of the game when they should be addressing things such as the well mentioned "mez warp" glitch.
Or I could prattle on about how much middies get nerfed and alb/hib get souped up each and every patch.
Maybe I could insert a startlingly original comment about Procs on weapons (I won't since I know nothing about it).

It's called freedom of speech (although it's not a legal right in the UK) and each and every person has the right to make an arse of himself in public.

So ner.

The new hats that can be crafted are a good implementation, its ashame mythic only bothered to do this for 2 out of the 5 styles in each realm. Bit of a half compete job imo. But nonetheless a nice addition especially for the roleplayers out their, wherever they hide :)

Yeah, roleplaying....that's another thing. Does any one or any guild actively partake of true roleplaying on this server?

I used to do a lot of roleplaying in my youth, but I can't get my head around doing it in DAOC. Seems bonkers to try to me.

Ok Hats, you can craft them, OK. And.....they look pretty.
So far I've nearly lost my eye to 22 pointy bloody hats.

Give it a week and it'll die out, another fashion craze that goes out of style.

GOA have nothing to do with what content gets put into the game, or any patches/nerfs/fixes etc.

They just run the game in Europe

Well imo the hats are nice, give a certain cool flavour to the game,
Mung, if u don't like hats...DON'T WEAR EM!!!
and if u don't like seeing ppl with hats on, DON'T PLAY!
instead of whining about goa, wich doesn't even have anything to do with it...

buy anyways, to try to make a change for once,
Nice work to GOA for a patchday without problems :great: , went smooth and everything imo
and thx to mythic for giving a rather fun patch, makes the game less dull imo
and finnaly thanes got luv!!! :great: :p

Hi! I'm a 'roleplayer' whatever that is. And can I say 'troll', Mung I mean 'trolling' not me, though I am a troll too. No not a 'troll' like Mung seems to be 'trolling' but troll as in stony skin and not so quick or dexterous, you know paint a big target on me and say 'hit stupid first, he's a troll' (but not a 'troll').

why not make all hats craftable with imbue points and upto 102af??? ie: wolfhead one
Same with new sheild types block sheild bucklers, why not craftable? thick mythic, very thick.

/The Spug, it makeses us new pointy hat, and it even dyes it purple for us. It also has friends that spellcraftses, so our new hat not only lookses good it helpses us when we fightses. We getses magic hat from the Spug. We lookses very good we thinkses

Saying this, Ingun smiles to herself and takes another look at her new pointy hat. There is only one thing that bothers her - the clothes she is wearing. If only she could look a little bit more ladylike sometimes.

/We wishes we has dress. We runses around in pants every day and now we wantses dress so we lookses like lovelies lady.

ooc - some of us liked the pointy hat and would like a dress to go with it. some of us also roleplays :D

I love the hats, it means my younger sister, Casia, could bury her nasty oversized executioners helm and now wears a lovely circlet crafted by the even lovelier Diensdal.


(ooc) I don't actually have a sister called Casia, its just another character I play, which could mean either a:I roleplay or b:I disguise my schizophrenia by playing DaoC

We makes hats, we likes to play with new patterns, then we sees silly bucket the Ingun is wearing and we thinks "we knows... we makes nice pointy hat for it" and whilst we is making it, we sees the Koba smashing gems with it's hammer, so we asks it nicely to make hat magic. then we dips hat in pot with purple paint.

We knows it likes purple paint, despite this being a silly colour, but we does it anyway.

Whats wrong with roleplaying? :)

I like roleplaying but not 24/7.

People like Krill and Ayam and Roo are the nicest people on server and they roleplay, so what does that say? :)
