Has anyone else gone from CM4 back to CM 01/02?

Well downloaded the ep4 today & it crashed after 4 weeks of the season. So finally uninstalled, gave up on it & went back to 01/02. Anyone else done the same & anyone who has can you recomend a decent data update other than the old official one?
