Harpys feather cloak question

Killed many of the mobs for this and after killing each one, i get the message....

'you have completed the harpy feather cloak quest'

but recieve no item in backpack, and no cloak is dropped by the mob.

Am i missing something here or just keep at it? killed around 20 now.

have to keep at it, its pretty random that the cloak drops i think

its a % drop like most, u can get it first time, or it can take you a week of farming, i know people who have got it on there first or second one, while others are still after it after killing about 200 of them.

20 tries sounds a bit much.. when I did it the first time it took about 3-4 tries. The other time I did it was just for fun.. I was in the area and noticed the harpies forming close to where I was.. I climbed up and got It from the first harpy I killed.

The message you got mearly means you have recieved credit for the quest (you get credit for killing one Aedargy), which means you can actually do it on another char, or buy one if you want and can use it on yer hero.

Drop rate seems to have changed somewhere along the lines.

First week of ToA a lot of people i know camped this artifact and got it after killing 1-6 Aedargy Harpies.

After the first week i have been on about 6 mini-raids to get a cloak for friends and guildies, 2 were unsuccessful as we wiped every aedargy and no drop and then no repop.

I solo'd this myself, took me 25 birds (25 orange/red con for a solo heal specced warden is a lot of time btw ), a friend of mine got the drop last week after 3 days of on-off camping.

guess they desided it dropped to much and lowered the %, or every one just being unlucky, but i dunno why u want the cloak, it looks horrible

The cloak will look ok when its dyable, next patch afaik and the stats are great for a tank

Dont knock yourselves out farming, guys.

There is going to be a bunch of nerfs incoming very quickly to your stuff according to Mythic.

Best check out the status of this before you go for something.

afaik most items on vision of sages are post nerf so they are ok, i know my summoned weapons differ from the ones on vos

KK. Just wanted to give you the heads up. Seen a lot of chatter about this on the US boards, so was thinkin they had another round of nerfs inc.
Kinda hard to keep track, tbh, lol!
