Harpy's Feather Cloak for a caster?

The primary ability (level 5) on that cloak is called Disarm. You use the charge on yourself and you get an offensive proc that causes your target, when it goes off, to "drop" their weapon for 6 seconds, making them unable to melee. The charge lasts for 10 minutes, usable every 15

This sounds like a very nice proc for a caster?

Any other artifacts that have this proc? since rest of the stats aint exactly caster friendly mele haste 4% parry 4 etc.. Good thing is it have 3 x 6 mele resist

Im mostly solo, so 6 sec is alot


But thing is atm im using the ml9 cloak with 3 x 1 mele resists and 20 AF so tbh Harpy's Feather Cloak seems like a very good cloak for me

depending on where you xp that belt.. it can be a reward in it self.
made 25p+ allready and the cloak is only some 70% towards level 6

but can casters activate it?

Humm humm, it gives an offensive proc which means you have to bash your target to make him drop his weapon, it is not a defensive proc which can go off on anyone hitting you, for casters this cloak is basically useless

Only caster class that might benefit from this cloak, could be bonedancer, often ends up in meele doing insta lifedrain and hit with staff. dmg from staff is only like 20 - 40 (unbuffed) but with a 6sec disarm, you are surely on full health due to lifetap and healer pets before you'r opponent can attack again (if alive). in NF 1vs1 fight's might become rare and you would prolly want some other ability than the disarm.

say you are a caster and got the cloak , and u are fighting some other melee dude , wouldnt you have some problems hitting him cuz of his defence/your ws? cant be good.

i know i miss took it for a defensicve proc wont be getting it
