Okay okay I know ya'll don't celebrate it but let me just say it anyway.

Off to make my pumpkin pies and then stuff the turkey to bake it. I will be busy all day cooking for my family to engorge themselves and then fall asleep in front of the tv watching football. (the real kind, not soccer )

Anyway probably no DAoC for me today, so ya'll behave k?

Hehe for those of you who think that Shaeffer is being a pervert, let me just say that he's not. (at least I hope he's not )

The reason I spell his name wrong is b/c a few years back while in uni I got used to drinking this really awful but very cheap beer called Schaeffer beer. Hence the reason I feel the need to throw in the "c".

Anyway enough of that, I have a bottle of wine for tonight

I actually did pop on for a bit for the fun in our frontier, and Shaeffer got to see the wiggle...with the supervision of Choppy, of course.

Dinner was wonderful, the smoked turkey was yummy (as it is every year, the hubby is the smoking master!) as were all the extras.

You guys really are missing out on getting to experience such a great holiday, but never fear...I saved a piece of pumpkin pie for everyone

The idea of having a holiday to celebrate all that the citizens are thankful for is not a new idea, nor ours alone. Many cultures have the same sort of holiday. Only we can make it about pilgrams and turkeys. Go figure lol
