p.s. did you know the original halloween lanterns were actually made from turnips!

Happy Helloween Ez! When's the actual day then? We don't really celebrate it in Sweden.. merchants tried to get it going for a while but it was never a big hit.

We do have All Saints Night though.

I hate that americanised re-imported "thing" :/ If I ever get trick-or-treat kiddos at my door, I'll tell them to f*** off and get lost for wasting my precious time...really.

I'm calm ^^ I just don't like that thing at all, it looks so stupid =) I'm not stopping anyone from doing such things, but I won't join in except in times of dire need (i.e. my g/f all of sudden changes her mind and likes that stuff ).

Tbh.....I'm not a big fan of any commercial celebration :/

Just about to go carve MY personal pumpkin in a mo... I have to say I am deeply distraught no one carved anything for this thread not even a rose shaped radish!

seeing as you might not be able to get hold of a pumpkin go carve a scarey face in something else... apple, soap, potatoe whatever just carve something lol.

hehe its an old english tradition... americans come from english settlers... halloween came from the old english, its just that americans celebrate it bigger than us, but tis ours!!!

any hoo love it or hate it heres my serious pumpkin (1st was for the childrens library at work) I shall name him dereck.

off to have my bat shaped cookies and watch curse of the were rabbit in a bit then its chinese time and next movie by which time i should be slightly hammered by heros i intend to be thoroughly wankered and may or may not be able to stay awake for the jamie lee curtis fest!
