Thank you guys...it means alot to me your HBD wishes.
Ed bought me the 'super pressie' of tickets to Snow Patrol, the 'Twilight' books, and a lovely Cath Kidston Mug. (Thank you mister x)
My day was a little weird -My family are really big on birthdays, but Mr Russell's think 'its just another day' so I am usually a little sad, as my birthdays are never really made a big deal (yup that does sound really selfish).
Today started off bad as Mr Russell went out to the Big Guildford last night for his pals 40th and got in trollyed at 3am -understandably he did not wish to wake at 8 to do 'the present and card opening'. He then lay in whilst I had to do everything -which doesnt usually bother me - 3 kids dressed, teeth, washed, breakfast chaos and they were really whiney today!!!. I then hoovered and cleaned and moaned loudly to which I got the reply 'deal with it -you are 35 not 5'.... That did not go down well to say the least. Bah and tears before midday -only quiet ones -as I hoovered -what a baby.
He then apologised, got up and we went to lunch as a family and out for a lovely winter walk in Alice Holt woodland Park. So it got better. Then people started to drop in and I saw this thread, got some texts and my day got good. Some friends have just been round for supper too which is lovely and now I can drink my vino and read my book whilst Mr Russell does all the clearing up.
