Which of the handheld gaming machines do you guys think is the best? I am off to Mexico for a few weeks and will need a gaming fix, so intend to pick one up this weekend.

Thanks in advance.

DS is by far the best, it also has the widest selection of games.

DS even though I own a PSP I bought a DS for my GF at Xmas and what the things they have done with that is brillant and the most of the games are fun and make good use of the two screens, I got her the RDS thing so she could watch video files and use it as a MP3 player.

I would pick DSl over DSi. Mainly because of the price/battery time.

with that said, I haven't seen the downloadable content yet :)

Are you trying to claim you have 1200 legit DS games? Have you even had time to play all of them?

Jagged Alliance on the DS, the only handheld game I would ever need. :D

Pirating games is bad, mmmkay.

DS for the win. Wouldn't bother with the DSi, it's gimmicky shit and costs twice as much for shit like a camera and a media port instead of a GBA port. If you have any GBA games they can be played on a DS.

Slightly off-topic too: GTA: Chinatown Wars is totally great.

It's only acceptable for very old games IMO. Anything remotely new and you're taking money out of people's pockets (mine), and that's bad.

Not always. I never had any interest whatsoever in the DS, but was told about that R4 thing so bought it to give it a try. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, so no lost revenue at all.

I do like gimmicks and gadgets though ... have been having much fun with the DSi on holiday. Playing my niece at Mario Kart and late night drunken sessions on Zelda ftw.
