Saw it a while back.

Looks OK - but not a patch on HL2 and Doom III tbh.

Some of the model animation looks sooo 2001. :rolleyes:

The appeal of Halo 2 especially seems to be the sense of 'epic' that you get.

The HL2 demo was technically impressive but everything in it was just better implementations of stuff that's already around or hasn't been used that effectively so far. Whereas watching the Halo demo you get a sense of the guerilla conflict in the city. You've also got this fuckoff massive history and mythos in Halo , way more than in HL, Quake and Duke combined that means Bungie can pull out these giant set pieces that make sense in not only the context of the game but also the overall Human vs Covenant story.

Hmm, did anyone notice the similarity between the Ghost scene and motorbike hijackings in Vice City?

Maybe we find out about some hitherto unknown connection between the Master Chief and Tommy Vercetti?

Are you quite mad, Scooba? You TOTALLY get a feeling of guerilla warfare in HL2. I assume you've see the 600mb quicktime movie that's going about of it? If not, get it and keep a tissue handy.

Half Life 2 will be the most fantasticly awesome game ever. Halo 2 will be as good as the first (not very)

Watched it now and wow.

its amazing I love Halo I got the Two books and the soundtrack as well as the game (of course) I can see why some people don't like Halo but I don't care I love it.

Yeah Halo is just astoundingly superb purely on game design let alone it's actual implementation.

Btw what codec is used for the movie?
