Having just watched the Halo video from E3 which is on Disc 2 of PCGAMER I have to say it looks amazing. However it might not come out on the PC until after its release on the X-Box which will be annoying.

Its not really Bungie's fault, they've been eaten by Microsoft and thus they might want to make it one of the machines launch games.

Ebattle - you got that turned around - Bungie was bought purely because M$ saw Halo as a sure-fire way of ensuring at least one good game for the X-Box's release - it's really that simple.
Since the X-Box isn't due for release until next year, and the PC version of halo will be release after the X-Box version, I really start to wonder what's going to happen, sicne the PC version (and the Mac version) were actually due for release is October or November this year - so PC Halo will be delayed by another year.
Simply because M$ saw a way to throw money at the problem of titles for their speudo-console (it's not a real piece of hardware yet now is it - all we've seen are artists impressions, and rather impressive pre-rendered movies - no actual hardware, no actual tech demos...)
I still hope Halo makes it out on the PC, but I no longer believe it will be when it should be.
