knew it wud happen, Microsoft realeased the Halo 3 trailer on Marketplace.

OM fricken God!!!!!

Took about an hour to D/L so good, have to wait another year though, just hope Eric Nylund finishes his book soon so we can find out what happens after Halo 2 and what happens before Halo 3.

Actually the Bungie Press release said it was what the game was looking like at the moment but they said the game has no AI yet, its supposed to be taken from a lvl about a Quarter of the way into the game. Unless the story is guna move faster then the one in H2 it looks like Eric Nylunds book is going to cover a heck of alot of stuff.

Graphically, it doesn't look that much better than Halo 2. Having been impressed with the previous two when they were initially announced, I feel somewhat indifferent to this.

That trailer uses the ingame engine. So that's how the final game looks atm.

I never really understood the hoopla over it all either, played like a standard pc fps to me, nothing special about it other than being a console fps that seemed to make people giddy for whatever odd reason.

i downloaded the fear demo earlier and i think its the best FPS ive played on a console. halo 2 was good for the 2 of you getting pissed all day trying to beat it. but i think fear is much better.

I dunno, but it's very good on the 360 appearently. Eurogamer gave it a 9 while they gave GoW an 8

EDIT: and it's region free, so it's quite cheap on play-asia

fear is good game, the pc demo of it was uber cack as well. in all its a good fps improved by jumpy bits preety much ripped of from jap horror films/games

thought the pc version sucked tbh, dont know why. it just seems to work 100x better on the 360.

I feel the same way about Resident Evil 4. I doubt I'd even give it a second look on the the PC but I've played it all the way through on normal, hard and with Ada over 9 times on the ps2 and I still love it.
