half life 2 on xbox 360

Anyone know if HL2 will run on the x360?

I Tried loading it up last night but got an error along the lines of "Original xbox game, version 1. Please go to xbox.com/games" ..

I phoned Game and they said that there would most likely be a patch for it on xbox live.. Think hes talking cobbles?

Also heard that its quite buggy on the 360 too Still saving for my new pc so i was looking forward to be able to play it..

If you can, connect to Xbox Live and see if it picks up a new version of the Dashboard and stuf. If you are already on the latest version there is no emulator yet, or they removed the one they had.

why are ms being gits over the emu, no burnout games, Black dont work either
according to criterion ms pick and choose which game they make compatible.

Apparently Criteron use alot of proprierty tricks that are harder to code into emulation, Microsoft are enabling emulation for the easiest games to get working first and that leaves Burnout etc a long way down the list

Downloading an update got HL2 running..

Runs ok i suppose.. Is very playable but is quite jerky in some places (is meant to be fine on xobx.. oh well :/ ).

Sometimes when shooting objects, they will go flying through the walls / ground Does not happen all of the time though.
