Is that funny gun they used to levitate/fire things about in the tech demo trailers gonna be in the game?

And will it come with any mods made by valve? Or are any in the works for release at a later stage like for HL1 there was tfc, DMC, ricochet.

Will the code be as open ended as the original HL? i.e good scope for mod creators.

What modes are in the game? CTF, TDM, DM etc?

How many players is the game designed for online?

Are we correct to assume it'll have won authentication or something like it in place to twat the nasty people with?

Tell me it doesnt come with bloody punkbuster built in and it actually has its own anti-cheat code at the heart of the game.

Whats the official minimum spec machine for it?

Supported Operating systems?

Screenshots and Demo's all in?

Any automated results output for Leagues/Tournaments?

How long til the SDK is released?

How long til CS2 is released?Will it be on the CD or a 2nd CD or a download or a commercial product?

Will it be a gamespy exclusive or will All Seeing Eye actually work with it?

Will the demo (if there is one) be a Fileplanet exclusive or will you take your heads out of your bloody arses and release it to the world?

Is the first patch ready yet?

Is the first cheat ready yet?

Did I ask those last 2 in the right order?



Er, ok ok, so I'm a little out of touch and might be asking stuff thats been in the public domain for years, but I dont know so I'm asking....

If you look on: The VERC Collective some of your questions are answered in the official HL2 FAQ.

I have a question though, now that valve own counter-strike, tfc and day of defeat will they be released as free mods or i n the shops with patches avaliable online, also will these mods be avaliable sooner than the independant mods because they have a pre-pre-release of the hl2 sdk?

Also are they planning of taking over any other mods? i.e. Natural Selection, The Specialists and Science and Industry.

i dont know if ttd mensioned this but have they changed the format of the screenshots to .jpg or .gif because those .bmp files take up shit loads of space

Reading that site mentioned above its a shame there is no built in coop mode because that would have been great :(

do they release games on dvd?
if tehy do release on dvd they will still have a cd copy im sure they'd miss out on some newbie sales if they didnt
