I heard Radiohead's latest album was leaked/stolen...

I know it's not the finished article... but has anyone heard it? First impressions?

It's not been mastered I don't think.

But I don't like it. Or Radiohead. :)

It has been leaked. The NME say it's "ok", so it will probably be great.

I'm waiting for my special edition Road Atlas before I listen to it though. I did here There There by signing up to the new official site (http://www.radiohead.tv) though.

I have the advanced, unmastered version. It's very *very* good. I'm not going to bother getting the mastered version (mp3's) which I know are out now, I'm just gunna wait for the CD. I hear the mastered version is loads better than the unmastered, which means the album will be orgasmic.

Sure I'm a Radiohead fanboy, I have to say that, but it is a truely fantastic album.

Radiohead fanboys unite!

I just hope that CD-WOW deliver quickly... seeing as it comes out 5 days before I go home for the summer.

I went on a binge and pre ordered the new Eels and Granddaddy albums too - I'm looking forward to them (seeing as I didn't realise they existed before browsing round trying to buy Radiohead...)

Unmastered studio-leak MP3s came out a while ago.

Final mastered (ie retail) MP3s came out last week.

I have the former, but not the latter (I'll wait for my CD to arrive).

It's (in my opinion) a lot better than Kid A and Amnesiac, with only maybe 1 really poor track (The Gloaming is total dogshit). Like Kid A/Amnesiac, the tracks sound much better live. Difference being that there is much more "music" behind the HTTT tracks, and much less of Johnny waving his box of tricks around.

It's nothing like OK Computer/The Bends, so if that's what you're expecting you'll be disappointed. It does require a few listens to get the most out of the tracks though.

btw nath are you going to Earls Court in November?

I haven't been following the concert dates, tbh. Only one I knew about was shepards bush, and that was sold out by the time I found out.

Are there still tickets avail for earls court?

Shepherd's Bush was part of the current "small venues" tour (I went to Edinburgh). They're playing a much bigger tour in Nov/Dec. Check ticketmaster etc.

edit: nope, only ones still available are Nottingham and Newcastle.
