Not gonna get into a socio-political debate, (finished a night of work as well as 6 cans ) but most americans, (Good ole U.S. of eh?), with the right motivation (not that they need a lot) will follow anyone that can start/win a war for them. Always been a good election winner to have a war/conflict during ya term in office.
