The Stormlord ML10 ability (Arcing Power - casts have longer range or radius) has anyone tried this with a dark sm casting spirit debuff?

As i was reading the info on VoS just now it struck me that a dark sm with this baby could aoe debuff a fg or 2 with 50% spirit then have the supp sm's obliterate them

Or is it only for dd spells? Read somewhere that it could work with nearsight so not sure...

It's only for damage spells afaik, so its complitely useless like all other abilitys from stormlord exept power drain and dd storm.
