Just a quick note to say what are ea/dice upto, first they asked us all too use there EAsy which suppose to take our pc spec info and send it to them, but it failed big time in not detecting the hardware mostly the soundcard, now they want us to use the madonion one.

owell they really shouldnt use d3d for gaming its pants compared to opengl.

Guhh I don't like the sound of that.

Probably trying to see how sloppy that can be when coding their next game, if they find most of their fanbase has top of the line systems then they skip any performance optimisations.

People like me are embarassed to give out their system specs while others with newer hardware probably submit it 3 times just to make sure they got it.

erm opengl works alot better for low end systems than d3d does peroid.
