Guys is run through now a feature of daoc ?

Im just wondering because more and more fights i go upagainst the enemy they seem to see fit to run through to win in most instances.

Its getting rather anoying

O and if its not run through its purposfully lagging themselves so they appear behind you

So many "out of view messages" even with face and stick gets frustrating that i cant seem to get a decent fight i mean i dont mind dying but when you got to resort to lame ass tactics for a few rps its lame.

erm maybe ishould add that my warlock hasnt been in major rvr since molvik, and that i predominatly rvr on my valkyrie mistieral. And that my warlock is actually on my second account so when im playing misti im not playing curse.

I don't know about running through, (even though there are a few stealthers that do it quite often), I've recently had a few albs decide to strafe like a mad man around me, and considering I'm /stuck to them, it doesn't really achieve much except get me a bit dizzy :>

You know, run through isnt *now* a feature of daoc, but it's been a feature for I god knows how long.

first thing they trained me in stealther camp.

First rule... If its tall and skinny with stick in its hand and you see 3 blue glowning circles around it. Run through ---> stick hit repeat....

Second rule if its short and fat with a stick in its hand and with 3 (very important 3 not 2) balls floating above its head... Run through ---> stick hit repeat....

If these rules are not obayed then all thats left is one steaming pair of boots and a smiling mage...

Stealthers I think would gladly trade this tactic for a balanced fight with the mage fraternity.

Tip spec the pink pbaoe thing with 2 balls on your warlocks (hex I think) and you will then once again be fully unkillable.

Lame classes call for lame tactics.... to a casual player this sounds like leetist crap.. but the bottem line is even though this game is an all time classic the class balance is shit, and you sometimes gotta do what u gotta do to stay alive.

i think it actually gets better the more you kill

i use run through against casters, but most of them strafe abuse and some abuse chat window lag anyway so tough shit.

c`mon whats the difference between a sm and sorc? both have mezz both LT both have ml9 pet, just 1 have soi and the other one have intercepting pet.

mids on the other hand also have bd and warlocks. :touch:

having less ping than the other guy helps counter it

it's an abuse of the client->server lag, it's not an exploit, no, but it's hardly sporting.
