Today I drove down to London to pick up a set of digital radio mics for evaluation (I'm thinking of buying some). Its a big spend (over £3000), so it was well worth the trip, and the loan was free of charge. 400 mile round trip though.

Got a job tomorrow, and a week long job next week, that would have made an ideal test.

I get home, and discover that I probably have a mismatched pair, and they are not fully compatiable (transmitter is very very noisy). I'll probably have to FedEx them back, and wait for a replacement.

Fucking owned.

I did that with a printer. My epson R200 looked really fantastic, late one saturday night i blagged a lift from my mum all the way to northampton only to discover i needed a usb cable. I was soooooo pissed off for like 12 hrs.

It was ok in the morning but annoying nonetheless
