Who's getting it? Man I have too many games at the moment, but this will move right to the top of my list!

Looking forward to proper 2 player action as well!

Can't wait - been practising the first one to be ready for some multi-player fun with me other half, still can't play Bark at the Moon :(

Careful though, I believe there were some problems with licensing and the guitar controllers or something, can't remember now.

I prefer StepMania myself ;)

Amazon is dispatching mine soon, so I shall have a weekend of guitar hero 2! A friend is coming round on saturday so we'll have some proper 2 player action!

At least there's a G'n'R track, plus TROGDOR!!! Hope they put a system track on 3, although they would all be a bitch to play, imagine how hard BYOB would be!

Arrived this morning, had a quick look before I went to work, and settled into a longer session after I got home. Just completed easy, and it's fairly good so far, just finding a lot of the new songs don't grab me like the ones in GH1! Oh well they'll probably grow on me, and I haven't unlocked 10 of the proper songs yet (they only unlock at medium and above).

Was expecting the updated controller, but it's the same as my original, oh well. Co-op sessions should be fun now I have 2 controllers!

I don't get this game.

Maybe it's because I play the guitar but it seems like Dance Dance Gayvolution for boys.

I don't deny that it's good (my ex band mate loves it) but WHAT WHAT WHAT?

Someone explain the appeal :)

It's all the fun of playing the guitar, but without being as difficult. Yes you too can rock out in the comfort of your own living room without months of practise.

Basically it's guitar rock for lazy people!

I'll be buying this, I didn't see the appeal at first. I mean it's just circles floating down a screen and you have to hit a button when it goes over a circle - however the interface and input method somehow makes it very enjoyable and addictive.

Also multiplayer is a laff

Father picked up GH1 at a car boot a few weeks ago and we got hooked, so pre-ordered GH2 with the controller for his birthday so we can try two player. Arrived yesterday, now I just have to wait till December to sock it to him ;)

Yeah we were also quite disappointed with the song list, ok I'm not a heavy rock fan but still only recognised 3 or 4 out of the 50+ on it. Also had been expecting a red controller as that was shown in all the gaming site pics.

Still great fun though but my fingers hurt from too long a session yesterday :(
