Well after wij's recommendation I have to retract my original statement about beat em' ups being average.

Its easily one of the best games I've played on the ps2. The number of specials for each character is immense which opens up a ton of possible strategies. Plus the characters are pure class.

Easy to get into but pretty damn hard to master. If you haven't got it already I seriously recommend it.

Oh and I've only got about 4 story mode endings left to do :)

(Tip: Set the difficulty to EASY to get Dizzy's ending #2 unless you have the patience of a saint on heroin)

I've only played 2 characters since I bought it yesterday.

I watched a video of a high level match Sol vs Venom. Sol is just a constant attacking character, no surprises, the 'dust-loop' in the corner is his main damage dealer. Venom though when played to full potential is insanely complex. He was setting up balls for all kind of attacks and mind-games. Virtually nothing he did didn't have a well placed ball backing him up. Must have taken weeks just to get the basics. And he didn't even use the ball teleport. God knows how you'd fight him if he mastered that too.

He makes Zappa look like a simple to use character.







Well I was impresed anyway :/
