Guildwars refusing to install

Recently had to get my computer reformated, due to the router not wanting to let me connect to the internet. I've started to reinstall all of my programmes and games - DAoC has worked fine.. but now Guild Wars refuses to install.

It installs the Direct x9 alright from the disk, but when I try to install the game it just says that it is 'Downloading...', and refuses to do anything else.

Left that on for about 2 hours, and it still said 'Downloading...', so I don't think its going to work like that.

Tried rebooting my computer several times, cleaning the disk, and checking the GW website for help - and nothing has happened. I'm wondering if its anything to do with the problem my router has been facing, since I couldn't connect to the internet. However DAoC seems to be running fine for me.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Will try that - but think my family will be annoyed at not having internet connection :)

I saw some posts on the GW forum that they were having intermittent performance issues in Europe yesterday. Maybe this affected you (just guessing really, don't know of any other issues that might have caused it).

Oh I fixed this btw. It was some router problems. Smashed it around with a hammer for a bit and it seems to work now.
