When you downloaded everything its almost insta load iwe noticed, i tried some PvP aswell it looked very nice, altho very confusing since none really knew what to do but this game got great potentional. Im playing an warrior/necromancer atm which is well.. an wierd combo but i like it. Tried Elementalist/Monk before wasnt as much fun, altho Elementalists seems to do fine in PvP

I played the old E3 LIVE thing, that was great, but ive forgotten _everything_ about the game :((

just a quick quest, Warr/Ranger, is that at all viable?

I know its just a beta kind of thing etc, but i hate playing classes that i end up enjoying, and finding out they could potentially be a lot better :p

Am having a look at it, unsure at the moment if it'll have the depth I want in this kind of game.

Give 'Cornell Omniscieous' a shout if you want.

Which pet are you using and Is there a pet control menu?

There're alot of nice ideas in the game, but atm I'm not convinced it'll be playable in the long term. Looks like the developers want an RPG equivalent of counter-strike(a game which you can play for a quick 30min session), it has potential!

The henchmen are actually usefull! We had a monk in the group and after some of us were wiped, the monk found us and ressed :p

Am using a lvl 20 Lynx.. found it at lvl 10 and raised it to lvl 20 and is now a formiddable opponent. Im going to get this game the long term pvp is cool so far you get like 4 groups of 8 people battling it out, crafting is interesting too.. and its FREE nothing wrong with a free game? fair enough pay £30 but it will last you forever..

Last night i was in this awsome pvp group we got to the last map but they had to take the servers down ;/

They will be getting their piece of the pie by banging out a lot of expansions you will "need" to buy to offset the need for a monthly fee.

Its more of a hidden fee and will work out about the same as most other subscriptions, okay you dont HAVE to buy the new upgrades, but you'll suffer in pvp if you dont have access to all the new stuff ;)

Crafty isnt it :)

Is the world still restricted? The thing I like about games like DAOC is the freedom to go anywhere you want in the world. The last time I played this game you where restricted and had to stay on roads etc.

Yes its linear.. but also strangely fun.. It achieves the aim of placing people in the areas they need to be in and the learning curve isnt to hard to handle.

I was almost tricked into thinking all this game had in pve was pick up a goto b activate c to get to d. then repeat..

That was until we quested to an almost capture the flag like quest.. taking control of portals.. was fun..

Ive spent a whole day playing and its kinda getting boring now though.. havent touched pvp yet though ;o

I thought the skills list was kinda limited, until I found Captain Greywind :p

In Lion's Arch, there's an NPC by the merchants who gives you a delivery quest. Leave LA, and stick to the right of the zonewall, through the bog and up the hill(you'll see a fallen tower leaning against the hill with a path next to it. At the top, head NNW and you'll see a village ahead. Deliver the box and buy some new skills :D

I liked it but, I can see myself getting bored with it after a month, I would love to play more MMORPGs but you have to pay and its a pain cause a bought SWG and after about a month I got very bored the trouble is these games get very repetitve and hopefully Everquest 2 and WOW should change that.
