GTA Sin City/San Andreas

After an arguably lacklustre Vice City, what would you lot most like to see in the next inevitable installment?

Firstly though, in VC, i really didn't like some of the later levels in which you have to go to different places and buy them out.

So to begin with, maybe i'd like to see more thought out missions, possibly doing one mission and not the other so you end up with an alternate ending. I dunno, a bit less linearity would be nice in such a game.
I'd also like to see police bikes and to be able to fly the police chopper, maybe be able to hijack it whilst S.W.A.T. slide down the ropes? And proper air chases, not the single heli trailing 1 kilometer away.
Another fun aspect i'd like is to be able to modify cars, boy racer style.

And another thing, do you think it would be in the modern era, or do a VC and go back in time, possibly the seventies?

You know you *could* steal the police helicopter? It'd often be parked on the Police helipad on the Westside of the island.

I think the next version is set in the city found in the 1st GTA - so hopefully it'll be modern cars - but who knows.

What they need to do is add some spice into GTA but not ruin the meal.

Its the same thing over and over now, just better graphics, new guns and so on. Don't get me wrong its still a great game, and I would still buy the next, but it dosnt keep me hooked like other games.

May sound daft, but ive always wanted to play something like GTA online... dunno how it would work out, but the idea seems really fun.

TO BE HONEST! I thought the setting of GTA : VC was complete cack. GTA 2 was great though, with the factions. Shame about the graphics.

Unless you connect to a decent server. that Multitheft auto (I presume thats the one that was linked to, as I couldnt be bothered to click it) can be very laggy with people / cars warping all over the place.

Think I'll install GTA:VC on my 2nd PC and have a go across the LAN.

Just I really like the multiplayer aspect.

*apartently* they have fixed the net code for the GTA online thing and it runs a lot better, thats what I read from the site anyway..

The GTA series is great but problem is the next GTA will be as all GTA's are limited by the PS Hardware, with the execption of GTA where it was first designed for the PC and later the PS1, but the extremly limited capacity of the PS2 will hamper any dream of a truly amazing GTA game. When the contractors liscence runs out on Sony, Take Two should design a GTA game to take full advantage of the power of a PC and not some out-dated Console. Then and only then will the full power of GTA be unleashed upon the world.

I think the next version is set in the city found in the 1st GTA - so hopefully it'll be modern cars - but who knows.

Both Liberty City and Vice City were in the first GTA along with San Andreas, when you finished the missions in Liberty you moved to next city.

See what progress gets you? First game you get 3 citys and 3 games later you have to buy them on their own

TBH I've enjoyed them all and won't mind even if they just did San Adreas with the vice city engine.

I think the only reason that MTA and the rest work is because there was some multiplayer code left in VC - so they must have had the intention of making it MP
