Would this be a good time to boast that when it was originally out on the PSX, i completed the whole game - 6 levels on 3 cities - without cheating? I've yet to meet, online or in RL, another person who finished the whole game without cheating, in the 5yrs or so since it came out...

I completed Arkanoid 2 on my first game without losing a life

Oh, and I wrote 2000 lines of code at home in notepad whilst ill and ICQ'd them back to work. It compiled first time and went through testing and got implemented without a single change

This is a GTA thread, i have every right to boast! Plus, it makes sense that i should try to find out how many people actually completed the thing. It's been over 5years, and i've never found anyone... It could be, that i was one of the greatest GTA players in the world! \o/

I never managed to complete on the psx without cheating, but I did complete it on the PC version without cheating. The main reason was that I was only borrowing it on the PSX, my mate only let me have it for a week. I can see why, still a great game.

i've already pre-orderd GTA VC on PC even though i've got 79% through it on the PS2, which means i've done all the missions, its just service missions and rampages left I think.

If it helps all the GTA games took me awhile to complete i.e over 40hrs, but it took much longer to complete GTA .Thats mainly due to blowing stuff up and not missions.

But then again in the old games you got points for that too.

Sry im quite an obsessive fan when it comes to GTA, I just love them all.

Anyone know if GTA-London (which didn't work right on XP before) will now work properly? I'll install it later and find out.

Runs like poo for some reason. Doesn't matter what res I put it in it's really jerky.

I press f8 and take the frame limiter off and it's a shit load smoother but unplayabley fast. :/
